Some men are called to be priests, deacons or religious brothers. Others are called to the married life ...Some women are called to the religious life... Come then, whether you are priests, religious and lay people, and imitate Me

New data by Father Melvin

I wish to thank again all those who have sent donations for the upkeep of the chapel and to pay the bills that come in every month. We still need help these days and please pray that Our Lady of Prince Edward Island will soon receive what She needs. May the Lord bless you all. Today we celebrate the Queenship of Our Blessed Mother. Let us have special devotion to Her today.

Integrity in the Ministry

A reading from Saint Paul’s Second Letter to the Corinthians (2 Cor 4:1-6):

Since we have this ministry through the mercy shown us, we are not discouraged. Rather, we have renounced shameful, hidden things; not acting deceitfully or falsifying the word of God, but by the open declaration of the truth we commend ourselves to everyone’s conscience in the sight of God. And even though our gospel is veiled, it is veiled for those who are perishing, in whose case the god of this age has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, so that they may not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. For we do not preach ourselves but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your slaves for the sake of Jesus. For God who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” has shone in our hearts to bring to light the knowledge of the glory of God on the face of Jesus Christ.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“Every person who believes in Me receives a special call, as you know My brother Melvin, and I call you all My brothers and sisters who have accepted Me as Your Savior. Some men are called to be priests, deacons or religious brothers. Others are called to the married life and to those who are called they will raise children to come and know Me. Some women are called to the religious life to work for the church and for the Christians. Some are teachers, other nurses and others still are working in parishes. There are some religious both men and women who are contemplatives, who live in monasteries and spend their lives in prayer and they do some work in order to have something to eat and a place to stay.

“Right at the beginning, I chose 12 Apostles and I sent them out to preach the gospel to all the people they would meet. The last of the Apostles was Saint Paul who worked very hard to preach the Good News to people in many countries. All the Apostles, except Saint John, are martyrs. They gave their lives to death in imitation of Me. They are your great intercessors in heaven today. Come then, whether you are priests, religious and lay people, and imitate Me in following all I have preached to you. I bless you all. ”
