… you too will be judged at your death. If you follow Me while in earth and avoid sin, you too will be in heaven. If you have sinned, then you are to repent of all your sins so that they be blotted out and they will not be remembered at the judgment …
New data by Father Melvin
Today is the great feast of St. Anne and St. Joachim, the grandmother and grandfather of Jesus and the mother and father of Our Blessed Mother Mary. Let us celebrate this great feast and thank the grandparents of Jesus for giving us such a wonderful Lady, Our Holy Mother.
Paul the Servant of Christ
A reading from Saint Paul’s First Letter to the Corinthians (1 Cor 4:1-8):
Thus should one regard us: as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God. Now it is of course required of stewards that they be found trustworthy. It does not concern me in the least that I be judged by you or any human tribunal; I do not even pass judgment on myself; I am not conscious of anything against me, but I do not thereby stand acquitted; the one who judges me is the Lord. Therefore, do not make any judgment before the appointed time, until the Lord comes, for he will bring to light what is hidden in darkness and will manifest the motives of our hearts, and then everyone will receive praise from God.
I have applied these things to myself and Apollos for your benefit, brothers, so that you may learn from us not to go beyond what is written, so that none of you will be inflated with pride in favor of one person over against another. Who confers distinction upon you? What do you possess that you have not received? But if you have received it, why are you boasting as if you did not receive it? You are already satisfied; you have already grown rich; you have become kings 3 without us! Indeed, I wish that you had become kings, so that we also might become kings with you.
Below you will find the message of Our Lord, the Son of God, given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,
“You are all My brothers and sisters and you also are great servants, My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who live in union with Me. I appointed all the Apostles, including Saint Paul, and they served Me very well indeed and that is why they are all saints in heaven today. At their death, they were judged and found worthy to enter the everlasting Kingdom of God. So now they are all in heaven. Of course Judas is not in heaven because of the terrible thing he did. He also committed suicide.
“So My dear brothers and sisters, you too will be judged at your death. If you follow Me while in earth and avoid sin, you too will be in heaven. If you have sinned, then you are to repent of all your sins so that they be blotted out and they will not be remembered at the judgment. Every day do good deeds and you will win many merits indeed and have a high place in heaven. Work together with Me and you will have everlasting happiness in heaven with us. I bless you all.”
