          Today begins the conclave in Rome for the new pope. Let us pray intensely during these days. Yesterday here we had a beautiful sunny day and the temperature was plus 5. It will be about +8 today.

Denial of the Parousia 

              A reading from the Second Letter of St. Peter (3:1-10):

        This is now, beloved, the second letter I am writing to you; through them by way of reminder I am trying to stir up your sincere disposition, to recall the words previously spoken by the holy prophets and the commandment of the Lord and savior through your apostles. Know this first of all, that in the last days scoffers will come to scoff, living according to their own desires and saying, "Where is the promise of his coming? From the time when our ancestors fell asleep, everything has remained as it was from the beginning of creation." They deliberately ignore the fact that the heavens existed of old and earth was formed out of water and through water by the word of God; through these the world that then existed was destroyed, deluged with water. The present heavens and earth have been reserved by the same word for fire, kept for the day of judgment and of destruction of the godless.

  But do not ignore this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is like a thousand years and a thousand years like one day. The Lord does not delay his promise, as some regard "delay," but he is patient with you, not wishing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will pass away with a mighty roar and the elements will be dissolved by fire, and the earth and everything done on it will be found out.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord, the Son of God, given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

    "I call you to believe My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters living in the world today that the world will end one day. Nobody on earth knows when the end of the world will happen and do not believe any person who tells you that it will happen during this month or during that year. This is completely false. It is the same as those who say that the next pope will be a false pope. This is pure nonsense. The next pope will be the man blessed by Me and a true successor of Saint Peter. Do not believe that he will be the last pope. This too is completely false. Only Our Heavenly Father knows exactly when the end of the world will happen. On that day I will return to earth in glory to judge the living and the dead. Pray My friends that you will be on My right on that day and I will bring you to heaven with Me. All those on My left will be thrown into hell forever. Why? Because they refused to follow Me and to believe in Me. So be careful and follow Me, the Way, the Truth and the Life. I bless you all. »

George, the father Melvin's message answers your interrogation; because we notice here exactly the camp in which Father Melvin positions himself.

As for to ask me for comment, it is not my role, nor my desire as well that I explained it before, to pronounce me on the different messengers: at the moment, I observe, eager to know everything, I pray (not enough, because of the blog) to improve my relation with God because only He is capable of telling me what direction I must take.

If my path to Lent is so centred on the Word it is so that each of we wondered about his faith, it is also to show that only the Word can allow each other to understand what takes place at the moment in our spiritual, physical and carnal world. To want to look at without the Divine Light is only utopia. As well as to want to interpret as one pleases the Word. The Pharisees made it previously and while they knew well Scripture, but not enough God, they acted as predicted without even realize this. The humility it is that we have to, at first, implore God to help us to obtain. Our egocentricity must be fought so that we can hear the small voice of the inside with which Jesus speaks to us.
