New data by Father Melvin
We had a sunny day today, Monday, but it was cold. It felt like the middle of winter. I see that in a few days, the temperature is near freezing and the snow melts soon.
PS Please pray that I will soon be able to accomplish what Our Lord asked and what our Blessed Mother wants.
The messengers of John the Baptist
A reading from the Gospel of Saint Matthew 11 , 2-19:
When John heard in prison the works of the Messiah, he sent his disciples to him with this question : " Art thou he that should come, or do we look for another " Jesus said in response : "Go and tell John what you hear and see: the blind regain their sight , the lame walk, lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the poor have the good news proclaimed to them and blessed is he who takes . not because of me. "
On their left, Jesus began to speak to the crowds about John: " What did you go into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken with the wind ? So what went ye out to see? Someone dressed in fine clothes? Those who wear discovery are in royal palaces . So why did you go out? To see a prophet? Yes, I tell you, and more than a prophet . This is he of whom it is written :
"Behold, I send my messenger ahead of you , he will prepare your way before you.
Amen , I say to you, among those born of women there has been none greater than John the Baptist , still less in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he . From the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent are taking it over. All the prophets and the law prophesied until John's time . And if you are willing to accept , he is Elijah , who is to come. He who has ears , let him hear .
To what shall I compare this generation? It is like children sitting in the markets, and calling to one another, ' We played the flute for you, but you did not dance , we sang a song, but you do not have mourning. For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they said, " He is possessed by a demon. The Son of man came eating and drinking, and they said, ' Look, he is a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of publicans and sinners. ' But wisdom is justified by her deeds. "
Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Our Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,
“There were many prophets in the Old Testament and most of them told me that was to come upon the earth. My brother Melvin and most of My brothers and sisters have read passages from the Old Testament that speak of the Messiah who is to come. Especially Elijah talked a lot about me and my role as Messiah. The greatest of all the prophets was Saint Jean-Baptiste. Why it is so important because it is the one who made me and told the people that I am the Lamb of God who came to save the world's people. It is also the one who baptized me in the Jordan. His birth was very special because his mother gave him after his time was over bearing. This is another miracle. When my mother visited John the Baptist mother who was a cousin of my mother, a great miracle took place while Jean-Baptiste and I were not yet born. His mother says the child leaped in her womb when my mother allowed her cousin Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke a prophecy. When John the Baptist grew up, he went into the desert to prepare for the mission he had been given. He was a man of great faith who prayed all day. When my father was called to go to Jordan to baptize people who have repented, he got up immediately and went to the river. St. John has worked very well and preached repentance to the people because he knew that the Messiah was very close. My greatest joy was to come to Jordan and be baptized by Saint John. After my baptism, my Heavenly Father spoke and the Holy Spirit came upon me. So you see my baptism was a very big event. It introduced me to people that I was the Messiah, the Savior of the world's peoples. At that time, St. John announced to those present my mission. I bless you all.”
